The wife of a patient gives donation every year in his memory to the Ambattur dialysis unit of TANKER Foundation.

This is heartening because it shows that the woman is kind-hearted and also that the unit staff are doing exceptional work to elicit this sort of response from a late patient’s kin year after year.

Our former patient Mr R.T. Sampath’s wife, Mrs. S Mangayarkarasi, donated Rs. 10,000 to the Ambattur unit Thursday, March 24, 2002. She has been doing this every year in his memory, say the Ambattur unit staff.

The donation was humbly accepted by the unit’s assistant manager, Mrs. B. Malathi.

In appreciation of her gesture, she was presented with a TANKER memento, which is a personalised, special, ceramic mug.
