A screening camp was conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation at the Tamil Baptist Church in Kilpauk in Chennai, Saturday, June 7, 2025, where 51 members of the community participated. The TAPP team, guided by Dr. Prasana Kumar, found 18 high-risk cases that were referred to the primary health centre and hospitals for further evaluation.

Remarks: The screening revealed 23 individuals with high random blood sugar levels, of which several were newly detected. Additionally, 19 individuals were found to have elevated blood pressure.
A total of 18 high-risk cases were identified and referred to the nearest primary health centre and private hospitals for further evaluation and management.
Dr. Prasana Kumar provided valuable dietary and lifestyle advice, stressing the importance of preventive measures in maintaining kidney and overall health.
