It was a lucky day for the 29 members of the general public who participated in the screening programme of the Tirupur TANKER Foundation dialysis unit at Rayapuram, Tirupur, Sunday, August 3, 2025, as some of them were found to be diabetic, some had high BP and some, protein or glucose in their urine. They were referred to the government hospital and PHC for further evaluation.

Volunteers: Mrs. Kalaiyarasi and Ms. Asha Devi
Remarks: The screening team found that some people had diabetes and high blood pressure.
It was also found that some people had protein in the urine and urine glucose. These participants were referred to the nearby government hospital and primary health centre for further evaluation.
Dr. Mariselvam provided dietary advice to all the participants.
