The 33rd Annual Charity and Awards Nite of TANKER Foundation will be celebrated Sunday, January 25, 2026, at 5.30 pm in Chennai.

The Consul of Spain and Head of Consulate in Chennai, Mr. Antony Lobo, will be the chief guest at the event.

Ms. Jayashree Lakshminarayanan, a champion with CKD who fought with fortitude and resilience, will deliver The Mr. S.V. Venkatesan and Mrs. Malathi Venkatesan TANKER Foundation Memorial Lecture.

The K.V. George Kottukulam Memorial TANKER and Kerala Kidney Research Foundation Young Investigator Award for most outstanding and promising young researcher in nephrology in India; The Renny Abraham TANKER Foundation Love for Service Award for the most outstanding medical doctor in India who has gone beyond the call of duty in rendering service to the underprivileged; The La Renon TANKER Foundation for the Sake of Honour Award for a person who has done exemplary work in his or her field; The La Renon TANKER Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award for two Indian nephrologists who have done exemplary work in the field of nephrology; The K. Venkatnarayana TANKER Foundation Awareness Award for a person creating awareness of any disease, mental and physical and social; and The Ashok Sankaralingam TANKER Foundation Patient Endowment for deserving patients with kidney failure will be distributed during the event.

TANKER staff and supporters will also be honoured on the occasion.
