In all, 19 high-risk cases were identified during a screening camp organised by Vision Rescue and conducted by TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation in the Gandhinagar area of Pulianthope in Chennai, Monday, June 30, 2025. The TAPP team of Mrs. Ramapriya, Mr. Hemeshwaran and Mrs. Deepa was guided by Dr. Mahadevan Balaji.

Remarks: The screening camp was organised by Vision Rescue. The screening identified 22 individuals with high random blood sugar levels, of whom nine were newly-diagnosed with diabetes.
Additionally, 20 individuals were found to have elevated blood pressure, and 19 high-risk cases were referred to private hospitals for further evaluation.
The TAPP team provided dietary advice.
