A strong team from the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) and TANKER Foundation conducted a screening camp at the Boaz Public School, Tambaram, Tuesday, September 16, 2025. The team of Mrs. Rajalakshmi Ravi (Head TAPP), Mrs. Vasanthi Ravichander (Head Admin), Mrs. Ramapriya, Mr. Hemeshwaran, Mrs. Deepa, Mrs. Bhuvana was guided by Dr. Prasanna Kumar.

Remarks: The screening camp was successfully conducted under the guidance of Dr. Prasanna Kumar, who also provided valuable dietary advice to the participants.

The results revealed that 12 individuals had elevated blood sugar levels, including six newly-diagnosed cases, while 19 individuals were identified with high blood pressure and eight participants showed glucose presence in urine.

Based on the findings, 13 high-risk individuals were referred to the nearest primary health centre (PHC) for further evaluation and follow-up.
