A total of 25 high-risk cases were detected at the screening camp conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation at farmers shandy in Anna Nagar, Madurai, Thursday, June 12, 2025. Dr. Ramanathan guided the TAPP team and volunteers in conducting the camp.

Remarks: Screening results revealed that 15 individuals had high random blood sugar levels, including 10 newly-diagnosed cases of diabetes.
Additionally, 42 individuals were found to have elevated blood pressure.
Urine tests indicated the presence of glucose in eight individuals.
A total of 25 high-risk cases were referred to the nearby primary health centre (PHC) and government hospital for further evaluation.
Dr. Ramanathan provided dietary advice and lifestyle guidance to the participants.
