Members of the general public were screened at a camp conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation, organised by NGO Thaangum Vizhuthugal at Chetpet, Chennai.

Remarks: During the screening camp, some people were found to have protein and glucose in their urine, as well as high blood pressure and high blood sugar. Those requiring further consultation were referred to nearby primary health centres.

Dr. Sarvesh provided dietary advice to the participants. He also provided medications benefiting 50 government hostel students.

Mr. Karthick, Joint Secretary, and Mr. Patrick John, President of Thaangum Vizhuthugal, inaugurated the programme. Mr. Sundar Rajan, Chetpet Councillor, participated in the programme.
