The dialysis centre has come up in the Urban Community Health Centre at Thiruvotriyur by the joint effort of Rotary Club of Madras Central Aadithya, Rotary Club of Madras West and TANKER Foundation.
The dialysis centre has its genesis in the Rotary Global Grant Project.
A small and sweet celebration marked the anniversary at the Thiruvotriyur unit with the patients and staff being treated to samosas and cakes.
The patients used the occasion to express their gratitude and happiness at the way the unit was being run.
