AGS Health, which is into healthcare revenue cycle management, made a generous donation of EPO injections to the Vellore dialysis unit of TANKER Foundation Wednesday, April 27, 2022.
Chief guest, Ms. Neha Gupta, Director – D&I, CSR & Communications, AGS Health, Mr. Shakthi Prasanna and Mr. Christopher presented the free EPO injections to the patients who use the Vellore facility.
Ms. Neha Gupta shared a touching story of her own experience with kidney patient care and showed admiration for TANKER’s services.
Rotarian Mr. Sridharan expressed his deep appreciation to have joined hands with TANKER Foundation over the years to provide the best quality dialysis to the underprivileged.
TANKER Foundation Managing-Trustee, Mrs. Latha A. Kumaraswami, gave an update about TANKER and said it has done almost 5 lakh dialysis and given donations of Rs. 3.6 crores for medication and investigation costs.
She also said at present, they were doing 6,900 dialysis helping 690 patients with valuable help from the CMCHIS, PMJAY, Greater Chennai Corporation, Rotary Clubs, Freemasons, Roundtable, Inner Wheel Club, Ladies Circle, corporates, individuals, family and friends. She expressed TANKER’’s deep gratitude to AGS Health and the staff of TANKER who are Angels on Earth, doing dedicated and selfless service.
TANKER Foundation Deputy General Manager, Mrs. S. Geetha, spoke about the uses of EPO injection and how it was crucial for kidney patients. Senior Manager, Ambattur dialysis unit, Mr. Guganthan, participated.
Rotary Club of Vellore Fort’s President, Mr. Divagar, past President, Mr. Selwin, and past Governor, Mr. Sridhar, were the other participants.
Later, AGS Health messaged TANKER Foundation, saying: ‘Thank you team for the wonderful function. Thanks Latha for all your words and AGS is very happy with this contribution.’
EPO plays an important role in rejuvenating blood supply in patients undergoing dialysis. So, the AGS Health donation was a valuable input for underprivileged patients for better quality of life.
