A new haemodialysis machine, sponsored by the Rao Bahadur Vemuru Ranganadham Chetty’s Charities, was inaugurated Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the Rekha Memorial Renny Abraham Ambattur Rotary TANKER Foundation Dialysis Center, Ambattur.
University of Madras Registrar, Prof. S. Elumalai, while inaugurating the machine in the presence of the TANKER and Vemuru family, gave an excellent, inspirational speech, which would have motivated the listeners.
He spoke of how to maintain good health with a disciplined lifestyle, limited intake of food and clean habits. He also emphasised on meditation and regular exercise.
Prof Elumalai’s simplicity, discipline and commitment were evident in his speech.
TANKER Foundation Founder-Trustee, Dr Georgi Abraham, welcomed the gathering that included Mrs. V. Mahalakshmi, Mr. V.S. Venkatesh Prasad, Mr. Keshav Sreenivas Prasad, Mrs. Nirupa S. Mogili and Mrs. K.L. Alamelu Manga Thayar from Rao Bahadur Vemuru Ranganadham Chetty’s Charities.
TANKER Foundation Managing-Trustee, Mrs. Latha A. Kumaraswami, gave an update on the service being rendered by the NGO.
On December 3, 2022, Mrs. V. Mahalakshmi, Mr. V.S. Venkatesh Prasad, Mr. Keshav Sreenivas Prasad, Mrs. Nirupa S. Mogili and Mrs. K.L. Alamelu Manga Thayar, TANKER Foundation donors and enablers, visited the TANKER admin office at T. Nagar, Chennai, to donate funds for the dialysis machine, with accessories, for the Ambattur unit. This reached fruition February 9, 2023.
