In all, 45 students and one staff member of the Don Bosco Anbu Illam – Girls Home benefited from the awareness programme conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation at Madhavaram, Chennai.

The programme, held Sunday, August 18, 2024, was conducted by TAPP team member, Mrs. Ramapriya.

She was ably supported by interns: Ms. Harini of Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth College for Women, Perambur, and Ms. Ammucharumathi of Soka Ikeda Arts and Science College, Madhanan Kuppam.

Ms. Ammucharumathi gave an introductory talk about TANKER Foundation and Ms. Harini delivered an awareness talk about kidney disease.

Mrs. Ramapriya added to their efforts and provided dietary advice to the participants for maintaining kidney health.
