An awareness programme was conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation at the Jagannath Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Sholinganallur, Chennai, Tuesday, August 19, 2025. Program Co-ordinator, Mr. Hemeshwaran, held the programme in two sessions for different classes of students.

Remarks: The kidney awareness programme at Jagannath Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Sholinganallur, saw the participation of 130 students and teachers.
The programme was held in two sessions to cover different student groups: the first session was for students of the 9th and 10th standards, and the second session, for students of 11th and 12th standards.
Mr. Hemeshwaran addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of maintaining kidney health. He explained the importance of drinking adequate water daily, reducing excess salt and junk food intake, and adopting a healthy lifestyle to prevent kidney-related diseases.
