The TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation in Madurai hit upon a great idea to use the famous Chithirai Thiruvizha festival of Madurai to create awareness on kidney health among the members of the public.

TAPP team members, Mr. Arasu and Mr. Alagumalai, chose the congregation of devotees at K. Pudhur, in Madurai, for the intervention Thursday, May 4, 2023.

They distributed Tamil leaflets on kidney health to 900 members of the public who had gathered there to witness the festival.
