Dr. Gokul Kailash guided the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation in conducting the screening programme organised by Daasya Trust, Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Mounasamy Madam Temple in Ambattur, Chennai. The TAPP team included Mrs. Ramapriya, Mr. Hemeshwaran, Mrs. Deepa and Mrs. Bhuvana.

Remarks: The kidney health screening programme at Ambattur was organised by Daasya Trust.
The results indicated that 14 individuals had elevated blood sugar levels, including six newly-diagnosed cases. Additionally, 14 participants were found to have high blood pressure, and three had glucose and protein in urine.
Based on the findings, 11 high-risk individuals were referred to the nearest primary health centre (PHC) for further evaluation and follow-up.
Not stopping with screening for kidney health, the TAPP team also provided dietary advice and motivated participants to maintain regular physical activity.
