Ecare India Private Limited has generously supported TANKER Foundation’s Injambakkam dialysis unit by donating one dialysis machine as part of their CSR initiative through the Rotary Club of Chennai ECR.
The new machine at Injambakkam was inaugurated Monday, March 17, 2025, by Mr. Suresh Kumar Sanghi at the Greater Chennai Corporation, Lodge Accountants No.194, TANKER Dialysis Unit, located at Zone-15, 3rd Floor, No.796, VOC Street, East Coast Road, Cholamandal Artists Village, Injambakkam, Chennai – 600115.
The Injambakkam dialysis unit is supported by Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC), Lodge Accountants No.194, the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CMCHIS) and many other valuable donors. This generous contribution will significantly benefit underprivileged TANKER patients.
Mrs. Priya Dixit, President of the Rotary Club of Chennai ECR, along with Dr. Ravi Varma and Mr. Deepak Kumar Sanghi (both Rotarians) of Ecare India Pvt. Ltd., who donate the machine on his father, Mr. Suresh Kumar Sanghi’s 74th birthday, expressed their deep appreciation for the dedicated work that TANKER Foundation does in supporting the underprivileged battling kidney failure.
TANKER Foundation Managing Trustee, Mrs. Latha A. Kumaraswami, conveyed TANKER’s heartfelt gratitude to Rotary Club of Chennai ECR, Lodge Accountants No. 194, the CMCHIS, GCC, Rotary Clubs and other valuable donors for their consistent and generous support.
She said the lifespan of a haemodialysis machine is typically seven years, after which the machine must be replaced depending on utilisation and operating hours. She highlighted the importance of timely replacement to ensure the continued delivery of quality care to patients.
Mrs. Latha Kumaraswami expressed concern that kidney failure was on the rise and it was of utmost importance to create awareness and ensure early detection. She said this year’s message for World Kidney Day emphasised the need to detect early and protect kidney health.
