India Philanthropy Day is being celebrated Friday, July 21, 2023, to encourage giving and getting rewarded.

TANKER Foundation is joining the day as part of the fundraiser project of GiveIndia. The fundraiser, which runs from 00.00 hours to 23.59 hours on July 21, is to help NGOs raise donations on the Give.do profile.

According to GiveIndia, any organisation raising a minimum of Rs. 5,000 (on July 21) will win a guaranteed 10% matching reward of up to Rs 50,000 on the entire amount raised (i.e., if we raise Rs. 3 lakh, we will get a matching reward of Rs. 30,000, says the note from GiveIndia.

If we are the top 10 highest-raising NGOs of the day, we stand a chance to win bonus incentives, ranging from Rs. 20,000 for the one who stands 10th to the topmost winner getting Rs.1.50 lakh.
