Sunday, March 28, 2021 was a memorable day for the staff of the Rekha Memorial Renny Abraham Ambattur Rotary TANKER Foundation Subsidized Dialysis Unit in Chennai as they had a star visitor: The Governor of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Banwarilal Purohit.
The Governor was at the Ambattur Rotary Hospital to inaugurate their Cerebral Palsy Rehab Centre and also checked out TANKER’s dialysis unit that runs there.
TANKER Foundation Founder-Trustee, Dr. Georgi Abraham, was at hand to welcome the guest, while the Foundation’s Managing Trustee, Ms. Latha A. Kumaraswami, gave him a guided tour of the unit.
She explained the work being carried out by TANKER Foundation. She spoke about the close association between Ambattur Rotary and the Foundation.
Mr Purohit praised the staff of the dialysis unit for their selfless service.
Ms. Latha Kumaraswami also presented the Governor with the TANKER Foundation memento and handed over the brochure that details the work of the Foundation.
