Seasoned speaker, the Program Co-ordinator of TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation, Mrs. Ramapriya, gave an informative talk on kidney health to the students and staff of NKT National College of Education for Women, Triplicane, Chennai, during an awareness programme on kidney diseases, Wednesday, July 23, 2025. Mr. Hemeshwaran, Program Co-ordinator, participated in the awareness programme.

Remarks: Program Co-ordinator, Mrs. Ramapriya, the main speaker of the event, delivered an informative session on maintaining kidney health, focusing on practical dietary recommendations such as adequate water intake, reduced salt consumption and avoiding processed foods.
She also stressed the importance of early detection, regular screenings, and lifestyle modifications like physical activity, avoiding over-the-counter medications, and limiting sugary foods to prevent kidney diseases.
The programme began with a welcome address by a student representative of the college, who introduced the objectives of the awareness event and the collaborating organisation.
Following this, Mr. Hemeshwaran, Program Co-ordinator, gave a brief introduction about TANKER Foundation’s mission.
