TANKER Foundation Managing Trustee, Mrs. Latha A. Kumaraswami, was invited as the guest of honour for the Women’s Day celebration at IndusInd Bank, Chennai, Friday, March 7, 2025.

There was also a cake-cutting ceremony.

Mr. Karthik Suresh, Zonal HR Partner – South 2, Consumer Banking Assets, Human Resources, IndusInd Bank, was the sole male member in that congregation of women and he honoured Mrs. Latha Kumaraswami.

Mrs. Deepa Sreedharan, State Head, Pioneer Banking, IndusInd Bank; Mrs. Renju Ravindran, Area Head, Pioneer Banking, IndusInd Bank, were present along with other women staff.

Mrs. Latha Kumaraswami spoke about TANKER Foundation and her journey in life, both personal and with TANKER Foundation. She spoke from her heart giving the young women very useful life lessons citing examples from her life. She also advocated for them to be humble, inclusive, bold and open-minded.

Mrs. Latha Kumaraswami and TANKER Foundation Head Admin, Mrs. Vasanthi Ravichander, honoured the bankers with the TANKER memento, which is a personalised, special, ceramic mug sporting the images of the TANKER Foundation trustees, the Goodwill Ambassador and some patient-beneficiaries.
