A screening camp, organised by TANKER Foundation patient, Mr. Ravi, under the ‘Prevention Through Patient Programme’ of the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team, was conducted at the Jeeyar Math in Thirumogoor, Madurai, Saturday, October 18, 2025. The TAPP team consisted of Mr. Mathivanan, Mr. Arasu, Mrs. Barathi and Ms. Veeralakshmi.

Remarks: The Madurai screening camp was organised by TANKER Foundation patient, Mr. Ravi, under the ‘Prevention Through Patient Programme’, of the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team.

The screening results showed that seven individuals had elevated blood sugar levels, including five newly-detected cases.

Four participants were found to have high blood pressure, with three newly-identified cases.

In all, three high-risk individuals were referred to the nearest primary health centre (PHC) for further evaluation and follow-up.
