TANKER Foundation received new medical infrastructure for four of its 15 dialysis units from Kaleesuwari Refinery Private Limited.
The company has donated 10 medical infrastructure equipment and they were inaugurated at the Urban Community Health Centre, RCCC and TANKER Dialysis Unit at Chinna Porur, Friday, February 27, 2026.
The equipment were inaugurated by Mr. S. Harish Ganesan, Vice President – Finance, Kaleesuwari Refinery Private Limited. Mr. Harish Ganesan appreciated TANKER’s work and said he looked forward to a continued partnership with TANKER.
Mrs. Latha A. Kumaraswami, Co-Founder and Managing Trustee of TANKER Foundation, presented the TANKER update and conveyed the organisation’s heartfelt gratitude to Kaleesuwari Refinery Private Limited for its generosity and continued support towards TANKER and its patients.
In addition to sponsoring medical infrastructure equipment, they also donated Heparin injections for all patients across TANKER units.
In total, they contributed Rs. 9,90,000 in this phase of support. She mentioned that this contribution was a significant help towards strengthening infrastructure and supporting dialysis treatment for underprivileged patients.
Mrs. Latha Kumaraswami further appreciated the company for having donated over Rs. 40 lakh to TANKER Foundation over the years.
She also expressed her sincere gratitude to the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CMCHIS), Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC), various Rotary International Clubs, family and friends, other valued donors and TANKER’s Angels on Earth (TANKER staff) for their consistent and generous support.
