TANKER Foundation received a donation of Rs. 1 crore from GRT Jewellers (India) Pvt. Ltd. towards healthcare initiatives, at an event held Saturday, August 9, 2025, as part of the jeweller’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.

Before the colourful event, organised at the GRT Grand hotel in T. Nagar, TANKER Foundation Co-Founder and Managing Trustee, Mrs. Latha A. Kumaraswami, Trustee, Mrs. Lakshmi Rao, and Head Purchase, Mr. Venkatesan, called on the DMD of GRT Hotels and Resorts, Mr. T. Natarajan.

Mrs. Latha Kumaraswami thanked Mr. Natarajan profusely for his unstinting support to all TANKER Foundation endeavours.

She also honoured Mr. Natarajan with the TANKER Foundation memento, which is a personalised, special, ceramic mug, sporting the images of the trustees, the Goodwill Ambassador and some patient-beneficiaries.
