TANKER Foundation Co-Founder and Managing Trustee, Mrs. Latha A. Kumaraswami, Trustee, Mrs. Sudha Lakshmi Rao, and their younger sibling, famous woman director, Ms. Priya, attended the book release function of their niece, Ms. Priyambada Jayakumar, Sunday, November 2, 2025, in Chennai.

The biography on the Father of Green Revolution in India, Prof. M.S. Swaminathan, was launched during his centenary year by MP and renowned actor, Mr. Kamal Haasan at the function.

The book release was followed by a fireside chat between Tamil Nadu Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services, Dr. Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, and the author, Ms. Priyambada Jayakumar.

Mrs. Latha Kumaraswami recalled that Mr. Kamal Haasan was among the early donors of TANKER Foundation.
