Rotary Coimbatore Ikons, in association with Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation and TANKER Foundation, signed an MoU for setting up a dialysis centre in Coimbatore to provide free and subsidised dialysis for the needy.

The MoU signing event took place Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the Coimbatore Corporation Kalaiarangam.

The tri-party MoU plans to set up a 10-bedded dialysis unit in the Corporation Primary Health Centre, Seethalakshmi Hospital, R.S. Puram, Coimbatore.

The unit will be operational by June 2025 and serve over 55 underprivileged patients needing dialysis in and around Coimbatore.

The Deputy Commissioner of Coimbatore Corporation, Mr Kumaresan, CHO, Dr. Bhoopathy, TANKER Foundation Managing Trustee, Mrs. Latha Kumaraswami, Rotary Coimbatore Ikons President, Mr. Karthikeyan, Rotary District Assistant Governor, Mr. Kamal Kumar, and members of Rotary Coimbatore Ikons and other sister clubs were present at the event.
