The Padi dialysis unit of TANKER Foundation, which was inaugurated May 25, 2022, by Tamil Nadu Minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, Mr. P.K. Sekar Babu, started its operations Tuesday, June 28, 2022.
Patients underwent dialysis in the morning in the presence of Kerala Catholic Society office-bearers who were one of the donors.
Padi Urban Community Health Centre ZMO, Dr Tulasi, Medical Officer, TANKER Foundation Advisory Member, Ms. Rohini Menon, TANKER Foundation Deputy General Manager, Mrs. S. Geetha, and TANKER staff were present during the beginning of the operations.
Padi dialysis centre is the 14th dialysis centre of TANKER Foundation, and 7th dialysis centre in with Greater Chennai Corporation.
The Padi dialysis centre is the result of collaboration among Greater Chennai Corporation, Rotary Club of Madras West, Kerala Catholic Society and TANKER Foundation. It functions at the Urban Primary Community Health Centre in Padi.
