As part of the ‘Prevention Through Patient’ initiative of TANKER Awaeness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team, an awareness programme was conducted at the Shri Ramakrishna Math, Reserve Line, Madurai, Sunday, September 24, 2023, on behalf of TANKER Foundation.

The initiative was taken by TANKER patient, Ms. VIshnudhurga, and the awareness programme was held in the auditorium of the Math.

It was a big draw as 176 members of the general public attended the programme and raised important questions which were answered by TAPP Madurai Co-ordinator, Mr. V. Alagumalai.

He explained about hypertension and diabetes to the public and also gave them dietary advice on how to have healthy kidneys.

In appreciation of her efforts in getting the awareness programme organised, Ms. Vishnudhurga was honoured by Mr. Alagumalai.
