On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation conducted an awareness camp at Thuvarimaan, in Madurai.

The TAPP team was represented by Madurai Co-ordinator, Mr. V. Alagumalai, and the programme was conducted at the Vigilance Foundation.

In all, 52 members of the general public took part in the awareness programme and asked questions about genetic disorder of kidney disease, main causes of kidney damage and prevention. Mr. Alagumalai answered the questions with clarity as also those about kidney health and drinking the right amount of water.

The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Karthikeyan, Director of Vigilance Foundation.
