A new haemodialysis machine, donated by Adhyan Charitable Trust, was inaugurated at the Retteri unit of TANKER Foundation by Ms. Anjana Kovoor, Operations Head of the Trust.
Ms. Kovoor said the Trust was appreciative of TANKER Foundation’s efforts in reaching out to the needy.
Members of the TANKER family turned out in strength for the event that took place at the Corporation U.P.H.C. RCCT & TANKER Dialysis Unit, Zone III, Gangaiamman Koil Street, Lakshmipuram, Chennai – 600099, Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
TANKER Foundation Managing-Trustee, Mrs. Latha A. Kumaraswami, Head Admin, Mrs. Vasanthi Ravichander, Deputy General Manager, Mrs. S. Geetha, Senior Manager, Mr. Guganathan, enabler, Mrs. Usha, and staff members were present during the inauguration.
Mrs. Latha Kumaraswami thanked Greater Chennai Corporation, The CMCHIS, Rotary Club of Chennai Towers and other valuable donors for their regular support. Reeling out statistics, she said TANKER Foundation has done almost 6 lakh dialysis and is now helping 875 patients. Awareness programmes have been conducted for almost 2 lakh people and 40,238 people screened at camps for early detection of kidney disease, she said.
