TANKER Foundation Managing Trustee, Mrs. Latha A. Kumaraswami, was presented the Community Star Award by Saveetha Institute of Medical And Technical Sciences (SIMATS).

The award was presented as part of the SIMATS Women Icon Awards presentation ceremony during SIMATS International Women’s Day celebrations Friday, March 8, 2024.

The certificate reads that Mrs. Latha Kumaraswami is being presented the Community Star Award in recognition of her ‘spectacular achievement and contribution to the development of society’.

Mrs. Latha Kumaraswami was honoured with a shawl, certificate and a statuette at the awards ceremony.

The event was inaugurated by chief guest, Mrs. Lise Talbot – Counsel General of France in Puducherry & Chennai.

The awards were presented to six eminent women from different professions.
