The screening camp held at the Udhayam De-addiction Centre, Mudichur, West Tambaram, Saturday, September 20, 2025, by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation, benefitted not just the patients but also the general public. Four high-risk participants were referred to the nearest primary health centre for further evaluation and follow-up.

Remarks: The results of the screening camp at Udhayam De-addiction Centre, Mudichur, West Tambaram, showed that four individuals had elevated blood sugar levels (including newly-diagnosed cases), six individuals were identified with high blood pressure, and three showed glucose in urine.

Based on these findings, four high-risk individuals were referred to the nearest primary health centre (PHC) for further evaluation and follow-up.
