A screening camp was organised by Daasya Trust and conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation at Gangadevi Bajranglal Chokhani Vivekananda Vidyalaya, Minjur, in Tiruvallur district, Friday, January 30, 2026. Dr. Gokul Kailash guided the TAPP team of Mrs. Ramapriya, Mrs. Deepa and Mrs. Bhuvana in the conduct of the camp.

Remarks: The screening camp was organised by Daasya Trust with the objective of evaluating the overall health status of participants and early identification of individuals at risk of non-communicable diseases, particularly hypertension and diabetes.
Among the 19 individuals who were found to have elevated blood sugar levels, 10 were newly-detected cases.
High blood pressure was detected in 23 participants, of which 11 were newly-identified cases.
Urine test findings showed that one individual had protein in urine and eight individuals had glucose in urine.
Based on the screening outcomes, 13 high-risk individuals were referred to the nearest primary health centre (PHC) for further medical evaluation and follow-up.
