Organised by Vision Rescue, a screening camp was conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation at Pulianthope in Chennai, Wednesday, March 26, 2025.

Remarks: The screening programme, organised by Vision Rescue, was successfully conducted at Pulianthope, Chennai, where 46 members of the general public underwent various tests.
The screening camp detected 10 new diabetes cases. It was also found that nine participants had high blood pressure. Regarding random blood sugar, 18 people had more than 140. The TAPP team referred 12 participants for further investigation and treatment.
Dr. Mahadevan Balaji provided essential dietary advice to the participants, emphasising the importance of nutrition in maintaining kidney health.
