A total of 76 members of the general public were screened at the screening camp conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation at the Shastri Nagar Welfare Association, Adyar, Chennai, Saturday, July 19, 2025. Dr. Kabilan guided the TAPP team of Mrs. Ramapriya, Mr. Hemeshwaran and Mrs. Deepa, and three volunteers from the NGO ANEW.

Remarks: The kidney health screening camp successfully identified 21 individuals with abnormal sugar levels (including nine newly-detected cases) and 19 individuals with elevated blood pressure.
The 13 high-risk individuals were advised to undergo further medical consultation at nearby primary health centres (PHCs) or private hospitals of their own.
Dr. Kabilan provided valuable dietary and lifestyle advice, stressing the importance of preventive measures in maintaining kidney health.
