Teaching and non-teaching staff and parents participated in the screening camp conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation at Sri JRET Girls High School in Perambur, Chennai, Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Dr. Prasana Kumar guided the TAPP team of Mrs. Ramapriya, Mr. Hemeshwaran and Mrs. Deepa.

Remarks: A total of 68 members, including teaching, non-teaching staff and parents, participated in the screening.
The screening revealed 15 individuals with high random blood sugar levels, including 11 newly-detected diabetes cases, and three individuals with elevated blood pressure.
Overall, 15 high-risk cases were identified and referred to nearby primary health centres and private hospitals for further medical follow-up.
Dr. Prasana Kumar provided valuable dietary and lifestyle advice, stressing the importance of preventive measures in maintaining kidney health.
