The number of the general public attending the screening camp at Mosur, Arakkonam, conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation Sunday, November 9, 2025, was in three digits (182) and what was worrying was that the number of high blood pressure cases was also in three digits (114). The high-risk individuals were referred to the nearest primary health centre for follow-up treatment.

Remarks: The screening camp was organised by CSI E.O Sha East Pastorate, Arakkonam.
The screening results showed that 98 individuals had elevated blood sugar levels, of which 44 were newly-identified cases.
In all, 114 participants were found to have high blood pressure, 67 of whom were newly-detected.
Also, 42 participants had glucose in their urine, indicating possible high blood sugar.
Six participants had protein in their urine, suggesting potential kidney-related concerns.
Based on these findings, high-risk individuals were referred to the nearest primary health centre (PHC) for further medical evaluation and follow-up.
