A screening camp was conducted for 157 teaching and non-teaching staff of Amrita Vidyalayam Senior Secondary School, Nesapakkam, Chennai, Saturday, October 25, 2025, by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation. TAPP Head, Mrs. Rajalakshmi Ravi and her team were guided by Dr. Gokul Kailash.

Remarks: During the camp, the screening tests revealed that 16 individuals had blood sugar, including five newly-identified cases.
A total of 26 participants were found to have high blood pressure, of which 20 were newly-identified.
Seven participants showed the presence of glucose in urine, and two had protein in their urine.
Based on the findings, 35 high-risk individuals were referred to the nearest primary health centre (PHC) for further medical evaluation and follow-up care.
Mrs. Rajalakshmi Ravi also emphasised among the participants the importance of maintaining blood sugar and blood pressure levels through regular monitoring.
