A screening camp was conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation for TWAD Board pensioners in Madurai, Saturday, August 23, 2025. Dr. Ramanathan guided the TAPP team consisting of Mr. Venkatesan and three volunteers.

Remarks: During the screening, 75 individuals were found to have high random blood sugar levels, of whom 23 were newly-diagnosed with diabetes.

Additionally, 21 individuals were identified with elevated blood pressure.

A total of 46 high-risk cases were referred to public health centres and government hospitals for review.
Dietary advice was also provided by the TAPP team.
