The screening camp conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation in collaboration with Mudirsolai Trust at Rakshana Church in Ayanavaram, Chennai, Sunday, August 10, 2025, benefited 41 members of the general public. Dr. Gokul Kailash guided the TAPP team of Mrs. Ramapriya and Mrs. Deepa.

Remarks: The screening camp was jointly organised with Mudirsolai Trust and a total of 41 people participated in the screening.
While 13 individuals were found with elevated blood sugar levels (including 12 newly-diagnosed cases), 10 individuals were identified with high blood pressure.
Protein was detected in the urine of one person, and glucose, in the urine of two individuals.
A total of 17 high-risk individuals were referred to the nearest primary health centre (PHC) for further evaluation.
The session emphasized the importance of preventive care; dietary guidance; lifestyle modifications; and early detection in managing kidney-related ailments.
