It was an interactive session of awareness on kidney health that was conducted by the team from TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) of TANKER Foundation at the NSN Memorial School (CBSE) in Chitlapakkam, Monday, August 4, 2025. TAPP Program Coordinator, Mr. Hemeshwaran, handled three sessions for three different classes and created awareness among the students and teachers.

Remarks: The kidney health awareness programme at NSN Memorial School (CBSE) School, Chitlapakkam witnessed active participation of around 850 students and teachers. The programme began with a student from standard 10 giving an introduction about TANKER Foundation and its activities.
Mr. Hemeshwaran delivered an insightful speech on kidney health, highlighting the importance of early awareness and preventive measures to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
The programme was conducted in three sessions – for standard 9, standard 10, and a combined session for standards 11 and 12 – ensuring that each group received age-appropriate information.
The sessions aimed to educate students and staff on healthy habits, early detection of kidney-related issues, and the significance of spreading awareness within their community.
