The awareness programme, conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation at a Madurai school, garnered the appreciation of its Biology teacher.

The TAPP team, led by Madurai Co-ordinator, Mr. V. Alagumalai, conducted the awareness programme at the Government High School in Andar Kottaram, Madurai, Monday, September 11, 2023.

The programme saw active participation of the 78 students and staff members.

While Mr. Alagumalai talked about kidney diseases, the students raised questions like formation of kidney stones. They were told about wrong usage of pain killer tablets and given dietary advice for kidney health.

The question and answer session was interactive and the school’s Biology teacher appreciated the whole session.
