Rane Foundation has generously supported the Thiruverkadu TANKER Dialysis Unit by donating a new dialysis machine, as part of its CSR initiative.
The new dialysis machine at Thiruverkadu was inaugurated by Mr. L. Ganesh, Chairman & Managing Director, Rane Holdings Limited.
The event took place in the presence of Ms. Gayathri Mohan – CSR Head, Rane Holdings Limited, at the Thiruverkadu TANKER Dialysis Unit, located on 1st Sannadhi Street, Koladi Road, Thiruverkadu, Chennai – 600077.
Mr. Ganesh expressed his deep appreciation for the invaluable work carried out by TANKER Foundation in supporting individuals suffering from kidney failure. He also affirmed his commitment to supporting the Foundation’s efforts in the future.
Dr. Georgi Abraham, Founder and Founder Trustee, TANKER Foundation, welcomed the gathering and presented an update on TANKER Foundation.
TANKER Foundation Co-Founder and Managing Trustee, Mrs. Latha A. Kumaraswami, conveyed TANKER’s heartfelt gratitude to Rane Holdings Limited, the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CMCHIS), Greater Chennai Corporation, Rotary Clubs, RCMW and other valuable donors for their consistent and generous support.
She said the lifespan of a haemodialysis machine is typically seven years, after which the machine must be replaced depending on utilisation and operating hours. She highlighted the importance of timely replacement to ensure the continued delivery of quality care to patients.
The new contribution by Rane Foundation to the Thiruverkadu unit will greatly enhance its capacity to serve patients in need, improving both access and quality of care.
