Tiruppur Corporation Commissioner, Mr. M.P. Amit, IAS, along with members of the Rotary Club, visited the Tiruppur dialysis unit of TANKER Foundation Saturday, January 31, 2026.

The Commissioner visited the site adjacent to the dialysis unit building proposed for expansion of the unit.

During the visit, the Rotarians presented the building plan for the proposed expansion of 20 beds across two floors, to the Commissioner.

According to Mr. R. Jinu Kumar, Area Manager – Units, Tiruppur North Rotary Club, Tiruppur Corporation & TANKER Foundation Dialysis Centre, he suggested considering the BSNL building located behind the dialysis unit, currently not in use, as a possible option.

Mr. Jinu Kumar also honoured the Commissioner with the TANKER memento, which is a personalised, special, ceramic mug sporting the images of the TANKER Foundation trustees, the Goodwill Ambassador and some patient-beneficiaries.
