TANKER Foundation gratefully received a sizable donation of Rs. 5 lakh from Sivasankari Chandrasekaran Charities Monday, October 13, 2025, at the TAG Centre, Chennai.

The cheque was handed over by Mrs. Sivasankari, a renowned writer, activist and philanthropist, a long-time donor of TANKER Foundation, and founder of Sivasankari Chandrasekaran Charities.

The generous support to TANKER will significantly enhance access to life-saving dialysis treatment and essential healthcare services for underprivileged patients battling kidney disease.

Mrs. Latha A. Kumaraswami, Co-Founder and Managing Trustee of TANKER Foundation, and Mrs Vasanthi Ravichander – Head Administration – conveyed TANKER’s heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Sivasankari for her generosity and continued support to TANKER and its patients.

In her acceptance speech, Mrs. Latha Kumaraswami spoke feelingly about her long association with Mrs. Sivasankari, whom she calls Athai (paternal aunt), and how she has been a source of strength for TANKER Foundation among her family and friends.
