At the screening camp conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation at West Saidapet, Chennai, Saturday, February 21, 2026, 10 participants were found to be high risk health-wise and were referred for follow-up care. Dr. Prasanna Kumar guided the TAPP team of Mrs. Ramapriya, Mrs. Deepa and Mrs. Bhuvana, while Mr. Saran contributed as volunteer.

Remarks: In the camp, organised by Daasya Trust, 13 individuals were found to have elevated blood sugar levels, and 14 participants had high blood pressure. Among them, eight individuals were newly-identified with high blood sugar, and seven, were newly-identified with high blood pressure.
Additionally, eight individuals showed abnormalities in the urine test, and 24 participants were found to have BMI above the normal range.
Based on the screening outcomes, 10 high-risk individuals were referred to the nearest primary health centre (PHC) for further medical evaluation and follow-up care.
