In all, 100 students of Jaigopal Garodia Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Choolaimedu, Chennai, participated in the awareness programme conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation, Friday, March 20, 2026. TAPP Program Coordinator, Mr. Hemeshwaran, created awareness about kidney health and taking preventive measures.

Remarks: Hundred students of class 8 of Jaigopal Garodia Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Choolaimedu, Chennai, participated in the awareness programme that was conducted by TAPP Program Coordinator, Mr. Hemeshwaran.
The programme focused on creating awareness about kidney health and taking preventive measures.
Mr. Hemeshwaran emphasised the importance of maintaining proper hydration by drinking adequate amount of water daily.
Students were also advised to reduce the intake of salt and sugar in their diet, as excessive consumption can lead to serious health conditions.
