Of the 60 teaching and non-teaching staff of Mother Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Kalavai, in Ranipet district, screened at a camp conducted by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation, Saturday, February 7, 2026, only two participants were found to be in the high-risk category. They were referred to the nearest primary health centre. The camp was referred by Mr. Giridharan, Area Manager, Ambattur unit.

Remarks: The screening camp was referred by Mr. Giridharan, Area Manager, Ambattur unit.
According to the screening results, one individual had elevated blood sugar level and there was one newly-detected case.
It was found that 24 participants had high blood pressure, of which 21 were newly-identified cases.
Urine test showed one individual had glucose in urine.
During the BMI test, 36 individuals had BMI greater than 25 (being overweight).
TAPP Head, Mrs. Rajalakshmi Ravi, provided health counselling and guidance to participants on managing BMI, blood pressure and blood sugar levels through proper diet, regular exercise and healthy lifestyle modifications.
Based on the screening outcomes, two high-risk individuals were referred to the nearest primary health centre (PHC) for further medical evaluation and follow-up care.
